8 ^aIf we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the ^btruth is not in us. 9 ^cIf we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and ^dcleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 ^eIf we say that we have not sinned, we ^fmake Him a liar and ^gHis word is not in us.
